Some would have hoped that the new footpath would have made things safer for pedestrians in the village, but it doesn't seem to have stopped cars approaching the Church Lane junction too fast.

Another of the larger hawthorns is knocked down. It is reaching the point where there are so few of these older trees left in the hedge that more vehicles are likely to leave the road completely and find themselves in the field.
