The two principal traffic danger points are both on the main road through the village, at the sharp bend at the junction with Church Lane and the junction with the East Winch Road at the Village Green. Most of the selection (It's certainly not a complete list!) of incidents that are recorded here occurred at those two points. The exceptions both appear to relate to the bend in the main road at the northern end of the Village Green.

It was a damp, but clear night, about 18:40. There was no screech of breaks, just a loud bang. One resident of houses around the Greyhound said, "I took no notice at first. I just thought a neighbour had slammed down their garage door."
