The black marks on the wheel are clearly from the other car's tyre. The badge from the wheel hub is missing, apparently rubbed off. The further black marks on both sides of the wheel arch, and the fact that the bodywork is not simply stoved in, but appears to be pulled out in places, further show that this was a glancing blow and part of the black car got caught in the wheel wheel arch as it passed.
