Initial attempts, by the farmer, to drag the car backwards onto the road failed. The decision was made to push the car into the field so it could exit on the far side. The photographer could then stop flagging down the traffic approaching round the bend!

Here you can see the tracks of the car on its way to a gate on the far side.
