After initial publication of the other two pictures of this incident, a villager pointed out that there was clear signs of damage on the electricity pole. This picture was taken on the Wednesday and would certainly appear to show damage caused in the same incident.

The pole is almost opposite the marks on the verge, shown in the next picture. This one shows an area scraped clear of vegetation and fresh signs of damage to the pole. Sizeable splinters of wood from the pole litter the footpath and, out of view, on the edge of the road.
