The car ended up here. You can see the where bark has been stripped from the base of some of the hedging, and a piece of wreckage from the car is still in place.
The car mounted the verge where a drainage ditch is cut into the edge of the road. As a result the car had become suspended so that the driving wheels were unable to find sufficient grip to be able to drive away under its own power.
