Approaching the village green, the Bernard Matthews lorry swerves violently. A mark of a tyre under hard braking is seen heading straight for the grass on the green, and there is a two foot wide skuff mark on the kerb itself. Whether it was the swerve or impact of the front wheels with the kerb, there seems to have been sufficient a jolt for the fuel in the vehicle's tanks to spill.

Do not be confused by the skid mark in the centre of the nearside lane. This was left by the minibus in the incident four days previously.
