Since the removal of the telephone kiosk and construction of the new footpath, turning towards Church Lane is no longer the problem it was. However, what a lost opportunity there was! For those needing to reach the Village Green the danger remains. Cars approaching from Narborugh continue to make the left turn into East Winch Road at or above the maximum allowed, in spite of it being a blind corner.

It would have been so simple to continue the kerb for about half the distance along the line of the single white line before turning it towards the telegraph pole. This would have a number of benefits. It would:
