Almost on the corner and visual clues for the junction (the "Give Way" sign and signpost) are difficult to spot against the buildings. The East Winch Road itself is set lower than the B1153 and hidden by the Village Green.

However, a stranger is unlikely to take the blind bend round the cottage on the left too fast. Experience shows that it is the local driver, with a disregard for the possible stationary vehicle, hidden round the blind corner, that causes the accident.
