It is not the Village Green itself that is the danger, but rather the East Winch Road junction. A vehicle on the B1153 that is turning right onto the East Winch Road and that has to stop, to allow traffic travelling towards Gayton to pass, does so out of sight of following traffic. The stationary vehicle is hidden by the cottage on the bend immediately before the junction.
